Hello
Today i had tried to install the nvidia drivers on my kubuntu 8.04.The installation was fine but when the pc reboot it came out a black screen with some words (something like the x-server).I guess that the x-server was shutdown so i run the command (after pressing the ctrl + alt +F1 to log in)
sudo /etc/init.d/kdm restart
After that i reboot my pc but there was the same problem.Then i run the command
sudo /etc/init.d/kdm start
And it says that it is already running.Do you know how can i fix this?
