Hi all,
I am Alex from Beijing, recently I downloaded the gdm code of the version 2.20.7, after running below cmds in source directory:
> configure --exec-prefix=/usr --prefix=/
> make
> make install
I found that when I login with root right, an error message was shown to tell me there is no Xclient file in system. Moreover, I can not find the gdm.conf file in /etc/gdm.
I thought that I should lose some configuration option except exec-prefix and prefix. Who can tell me the gdm configure option for ubuntu 8.04? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
