decoherence

I recently discovered an interesting desktop environment project. A search on the forums came up dry but no longer! Check out Antico here
http://www.antico.netsons.org/
It's a Qt4 environment, but without any KDE dependencies. So it looks rather nice and it's really, really fast. Like, really, really, really fast on my old 900MHz PIII laptop.
It's still in an early development stage, which means for some folks who rely on GNOME's or KDE's various bits of magic, it might not be a usable alternative. But from what I've seen on my Arch install, if you were comfortable with WindowMaker, IceWM or Enlightenment, you'd be fine with Antico.
Now I'm looking for Qt4 apps that don't depend on kdelibs. Arora looks like an interesting browser...

ADD: Obligatory Launchpad link (as if you couldn't figure it out) https://launchpad.net/antico
