Hi! I'm using XUbuntu 8.10 on a MacBook Pro 3,1 and my middle-click seems to be not mapped correctly. When I use the laptop trackpad, the three-finger tap is mapped to the right mouse button and the two-finger tap does nothing. When I use my Logitech mouse, the third mouse button does nothing.
Highlight/middle-click-paste worked with Ubuntu 7.10 with both my USB Logitech mouse and the trackpad, so I know it's possible.
The page on MacBook (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro3-1/Intrepid) says that this stuff should work out of the box... unfortunately, it doesn't. I've tried it on Ubuntu 8.10 with Gnome and Fluxbox and XUbuntu with xfce, so I'm guessing it's a problem with my X11 configuration.
Anyone have any ideas?
