I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 on a Sylvania g Meso netbook and having a frustrating problem with Compiz:

When I restore (aka unmaximize) a maximized window, it *sometimes* ends up half-off the screen such that I can't see/grab the title-bar or buttons. I have to right-click and then select 'maximize' or something to get it back. I've already tried un-checking 'constrain Y' and 'snap invert' and several other things. Any ideas on how to fix this? I love the compiz effects and would like to keep them, but this is a deal-breaker if I can't fix it.

FYI - The screen is quite small (1024 x 600) which might have something to do with it. Is there a way to prevent windows from extending off the desktop?

Thanks very much for your wisdom!!!
