View Full Version : [ubuntu] Wicd vs Network Manager

I am trying to get my wireless network going and I just went thru a comprehensive trouble shoot post and I am thinking about going back to network manager. How do i take off wicd and put network manager back on?

Also it says i have 291 updates. Do I need to do that or is that a bunch junk or drivers that I should have?

Go to the Package manager and remove WICD. Then install gnome network manager.

As for the updates, yes install them. Some are important!

What about all the games or can i do a custom install?

Before I reloaded and started over I did a download and there was games I thought. Maybe I am wrong I will chek now.
