I've used gutsy before and it kind of did the same thing. I had to edit menu.lst to get it to boot both os's right. Now I am trying to get back into ubuntu on a 64 bit rig. I have windows 7 on a 500g sata drive and installed ubuntu on a 40g ide drive. I have the 40g drive 1st in boot order.
I've tried the map command but it didn't work. Hear is the system info. Any help would be great.

It's working ok now. I changed my boot order in the bios back to the sata drive and presto.
