Okay, so I just finished my new build. I have a q6600, a Sapphire HD4870, a Western Digital 640GB HDD, 4 gigs of RAM, and a Gigabyte Mobo.
Okay, so the problem I am having is that I can't get Ubuntu 8.10 (64 bit version) to install. I get to the initial menu, pick language, then if I try to install it or run it from the CD I will get to the loading screen (the one with the bar). Once that is finished the screen will go white and just stay like that.
Any ideas?
