I'd like to update to Thunderbird 1.
First, I uninstalled the earlier version.
Then, I downloaded the new one, decompressed the contents and with the
Create Launher utility I selected the "Thunderbird" file.
Hit Open, but the only thing I managed to obtain was a TB icon on my desktop.
I'm certainly doing something wrong, but what is it?
Helpful hints will be most appreciated.
