When I start my computer, my screen resolution is reset!

Whenever I start my computer, the resolution is set to 1024x768. I use 1600x1200, but I only need to open up the Display settings window for it to switch back to 1600x1200. It's weird, and mildly annoying. I have this problem in Jaunty right now, but I've always had it in Intrepid too.
