Greetings once again!
I'm having trouble installing Ubuntu on my computer. With Ubuntu 8.10, it just drops me to the root shell when I boot to the live cd. When I use my 9.04 disk all goes well, then it hangs up for about 5 minutes or so on the following message:
hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC883, trying to auto-probe from BIOS.
After a while it will continue on with the boot, then freezes on the following message:
* Starting Bluetooth
I have no bluetooth hardware connected and it won't continue with the live boot / install because of this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
