Hello,

I have installed ubuntu and my PC has two OS, vista and ubuntu 8.04. I have installed ubuntu on a separate partition.

Now, I want to install ubuntu 8.10 by using a windows based ubuntu installer. Will that installation procedure first remove my old ubntu OS and then install ubuntu 8.10.

Hey, your choices are your own business, but why would you want to do that? An installation inside Windows is only going to be slower (although, not much) than a dual-boot installation.

And, as far as I know, there's no way to migrate what you have outside MS Windows into your Wubi installation (although the other way around DOES exist).
