I know it is stable and my fav add-ons are more likely to work. I mean, it is a web browser, what more could you ask for?

3.1 beta 3 It's fast, and I have had no problems with it.

Latest current on my Linux and Windows systems, and latest current and latest beta on my Mac.
You folks all know that 3.1 has now been re-labeled (re-versioned, if you will) 3.5, right? I guess they decided there are enough changes and advances to warrant a larger jump in decimal increments.
I can hardly wait to get my hands on a finished 3.5. For that matter, I can also hardly wait to get my hands on a finished Ubuntu 9.04. C'mon, guys, time's a-wasting and I'm not getting any younger! :)

Marketing - The numbers are pointless. Like Gnome 3.0 - they can jump to that number any time, it is the perception of that the numbers mean that matter. The first program I ever release will be version 1000.5.0.1 so everyone will know it is awesome ;)

Minefield, because SliTaz uses it.

3.0.8, and hopefully always the latest version now that it's being packaged in a simpler way in SliTaz.
I usually prefer elinks.
EDIT: init1, you should upgrade your system. The previous issues with cooking Minefield have been fixed by switching to vanilla Firefox from Mozilla. We are now up-to-date with the latest security fixes :)

I think that was same reasoning behind Microsoft naming their console Xbox 360 instead of Xbox 2. Sony was releasing their console as the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft probably thought that people might subconsciously think that their console was inferior to Sony's because Sony was already up to version 3 while they were only up to version 2. Even though the 360 is as far as hardware specs is inferior to the PS3.

Using 3.5b4 nightly (Shiretoko). It's faster than the one in the repos. Will be moving to Minefield 3.6 soon...and silly as it is, I like their code names for their alphas and betas... :)
