Possible for First Window on Right instead of Left?

I would prefer that the first window opened on a desktop come up on the right side of the screen, rather than the left. Is it possible to change this behavior?

For me at least when I open anything in windowed mode it comes up exactly where it was when closed. So just make sure the application is on the right side when you close it and it should open in the same location.
