Hi, I am expecting to receive a delivery of a 30gb SSD which is to be installed in my laptop alongside a 320gb HDD. I would like to know if you are able to have the SSD as the / partition and the HDD as the /home (with a few gb of swap on the HDD so as to reduce writes to the SSD), would this work the same as having a single drive with a /, /home and swap partition? Also, what would be the best FS type to use on the SSD? Once the drive gets here I'll be doing a clean install of Jaunty, which I believe has ext4, how does this compare to ext3?

Thanks in advance
