Snort Help

i installed snort as described in this how to

but when i was done i tried to run snort with this command


sudo snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf

but i keep getting this error


ERROR: Misconfigured dynamic preprocessors
Fatal Error, Waiting...

Im trying to install this on ubuntu server 8.10 and am having a difficult time. i have done it on windows before, but it was much easier. please help. thanks
