Regarding the Asus T101 (either HDD or SSD, not sure which I want)
I am really excited about the prospect of having a tablet PC that is the size of a netbook. Some people will argue that tablets are not the best answer to anything, but here's why I like them. I am a science student, and it is really handy to be able to draw something, quickly in your notes... like a organic molecule structure, or whatever other picture that the professor decides to draw on the board. Thus, One Note is something of a Killer App.
My question is, this... I would prefer to have some Linux Distribution (NOT LINSPIRE) that adequately serves the needs of a laptop of such low specs as well as providing the functionality that OneNote adds. Would a system like this be able to run OneNote in Wine? Using Linux, would I need to have a full version of a Linux Distro (I like both Ubuntu and Fedora)? Would I be able to, without dramitic loss in performance? Is Ubuntu MID geared towards this device?
