What version should i install?

I want to try unbuntu but i don't known the version that i should install; my machiche is a amd semprom 3100+ 1.8ghz (suports 64bits) and 1gb ram.can anyone help me?

I would recommend installing hardy (8.04) i386 desktop version. Hardy is a LTS version (Long term Support) version.

An AMD64 version is more suitable for your CPU. As it is April now, I recommended you to install 9.04 Beta which will be released 2 weeks later.

im running a AMD 2500+ 1.8 GHZ and 1.25gb RAM and have no problems with Jaunty 9.04 so you should be ok with Jaunty with your computer
