What is the point of the option for installation size when installing Ubuntu? I mean... why would a user specify more size than the minimum of 4GB? Is there any advantages to having a bigger install size, such as 10 gigs? Thanks guys... let me know..

are you sure it isn't for the size of the partition?

If you're talking about the partition size the point is that you'll have more space for things you use on Ubuntu.
The install size could be as small as 1Gb (or even less), but then, you wouldn't have space to store documents and programs in the Ubuntu partition.
