I have the iMac Summer 2001 edition and I would like to run it with ubuntu in dual mode (not sure the exact name but the one where you can have both os's on the same computer).
It currently has Mac OS10.3. I am not sure where to start to get it onto this computer.
I have a Ubuntu 8.1 cd I borrowed from my computers and networking teacher, however I am not sure if it is the right one (my school uses pcs). I have no idea how to get into the setup screen of the mac (or if it has one) so I can't configure it to boot from the cd, and I can't get the cd to run once the MacOS has loaded.
Any help would be appreciated.
