Hi,
I've used WUBI to download (and install) to my WinXP Home (32bit, SP3) PC.
After the first installation procedure, it asks to reboot the PC (which I confirm).
When I select "UBUNTU" from the OS selection, it displays:
"Booting GRLDR ...
WARNING: Unrecognized partition table for drive 80. Please rebuild it using a Microsoft-compatible FDISK tool (err = 114). Current C/H/S 16383/86/63"
Since the PC boots normal under Windows, I am at a loss (I also can't locate any FDISK program on my PC - wasn't that used under MS-DOS ?).
What is "drive 80" ? ](*,)
I have used Acronis Disk Director to set up my various partitions and logical drives.
I've tried installing WUBI on different drives (internal & external), but to no avail. I had no problems uninstalling it after it failed to boot.
Any ideas ?
Cheers,
Andreas
