When iam trying to install postgresql 8.3 on Ubuntu 8.04 with the following command
sudo apt-get install postgresql postgresql-client postgresql-contrib,
Iam getting error below:
Processing triggers for libc6 ... ldconfig deferred processing now taking place.
Postgres doesnot start and says it cannot connect to server
Can you pls help me how to fix the problem
