good article. my wife can use gnome with no problems. she is a bit annoyed that the firefox icon was changed in ubuntu though. but she surfs the web, logs on and saves things to her memory stick with no problems.

Unfortunately we can't use the official Firefox icon because it's not an official build. Sigh.

I simply downloaded the .png from the firefox site, right click on the Ubuntu firefox image, go to properties, browse and open the png in and I have the good old logo.

No biggie, took me like 15 seconds to get the real one. :)

I like the article but I still believe the woman knew way lot about computers to be tested for GNOME usability.

Granny would be better for that ;-)
