problem with setup--> lines on screen

hii :( first of all iam glad to join ur forms

i have a problem with instaling the system of ubuntu
i have windows vista home intel core 2 due cpu t9400 2.53hgz 4G ram nvidia geforce 9600 Gt

i try to install the system on microsoft virtual pc to learn and try the system and i stuck with instaling .. i see virtcal lines on the screen i will add picture to let u see the problem
