Hi there,
I'm am in the middle of getting a carPC together, I have a laptop with a touchscreen monitor attached to it. I came across Ubuntu MID and it looks very promising for what I plan on using the carPC for.
I see that there are AMD64 packages for MID in the repository. I had tried installing desktop edition on my laptop and installing the Ubuntu-MID package, but I just end up booting into a black screen with a panel at the top.
Is there an AMD64 edition image available for download, and if there isn't, is there a way of installing these AMD64 packages?
I don't mind installing the x86 version of MID, but I would like to take full advantage of my processor.
Thanks for your help,
Jeff
