Installing within windows (vista)

I have tried several times to install ubuntu 8.10 inside windows vista. Everything installs find all up to the restart your computer screen. When the computer restarts it automatically starts up vista. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It seems for some reason the install didn't add the new option to the boot menu at startup.

With the disc in, hit the option "Help me boot from this disc" and then restart, should see an option during a reboot to go into Ubuntu.
