When you say: "Inside Windows" I'm pretty sure you don't mean that you want to run a windows emulator of some sort. Correct?

Ubuntu will have drivers for your hardware, it takes nothing from Windows. Click on the "Try it out" selection. Nothing will be installed and you can see if your hardware will all work with Ubuntu!

On the disc there is a file in the root called Wubi.exe run this and it will install Ubuntu within Windows. After installing, you you will be given a choice of which OS to boot when you turn on your machine. If you ever want to uninstall Ubuntu, you can do it from Windows control panel.
