I have a CD with .wav files. I want to rip it to put on my Creative Zen player. So, I activate Ubuntu's Juicer. Rips music to .oga files. What the hell are these? Who needs em? I need .wav or .mp3. What is going on here? Anyone tell me what I am doing with this thing on my system?

Regards

.oga are ogg vorbis format, goto the settings in juicer and make it rip to mp3 or wav.

Dont forget that Ubuntu has no mp3 support without you adding the codecs.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Much obliged to you folks - pls forgive my stupidity (legacy of too many drugs in my youth - and not enough in my old-age)
