I installed two sets of updates today, April 6, 2009. The second set pertained to linux-headers-2.6.27, and I don't remember what the first set was for, although I presume everyone else here received the same updates via Update Manager.
I have noticed that my Nautilus bookmarks and my bookmarks from the Places menu have all disappeared- they have reverted to the default set (Home Folder, Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Music, and Video). I don't know why this has taken place of if there is anything I can do to fix it.
I don't know where these files are located, or whether they will have been deleted or if a link target has changed. I don't know for sure that the updates precipited the change, but no other settings have been altered on this machine except for a change to smb.conf to make home folders browseable.
