Pre upgrade questions

Im going to be updating to Ubuntu 9.04 soon here and i want to do a clean install. but i have a few questions before I do Well here are my questions.

1. I want to make my /home on a seprate partition. Is there any way i can make this transfer easly?

2. How large should i make the /home in realtion to my system one?

3. Can someone walk me though how to manually set up the partions during the install?

Thouse come to mind right now, will add any more that i think of.

Never mind question one i found an easier way to do this.

Still need help with 2 and 3.
