South Park >= The Simpsons > Futurama > Family Guy >= American Dad

Who's the boy that can laugh at a storm cloud?
Who can turn a frown into a smile for free?
Who's that kid with a heart full of magic?
Everyone knows it's Butters!

(That's me!)

Who's the boy with the eyes full of wonder?
Who thinks being yourself is the best thing to be?
Who's that rascal with the tweezers in his pocket?
Everyone knows it's Butters!
(Wul, wul, that's me!)

Jumpin' in puddles,

skippin down the hallyway
pettin at the pettin' zoo.

He loves John Elway.

Who's that tike with the cutest little dimples?
Battin' his eye at everyone he sees?
If you look inside youself you may be suprised when you find
a little boy named Butters!
(And That's Me!)

Family Guy and South Park are probably the only two to "go there". Family Guy has the added bonus of being animated well, being more random and most importantly, being fresh.

I don't like American Dad at all, it's like a bad version of Family Guy. I like Family Guy, but some times the stupid humour gets out of hand.

The Simpons are great but Southpark is so much better.

Cartman being the funniest.

I can't stand Family Guy.

vote Family Guy since they've had the entire Star Trek cast on before lolololol.... I loved it when Stewie asked Picard if he got to "tap" Guinan, and he's like "all the time!"

Monkey Dust, misanthropy at it's most brilliant wrongness.

The BBC claimed they wouldn't release the second and third series on dvd out of respect for one of the creators having died; rather than having lots of people taking issues with the content. That's how good/bad it was.

Also Modern Toss deserves a mention, and Robot Chicken which everyone should have looked up after seeing the Family Guy Star Wars.

Out of the suggested ones, they're all suitable for spending all day lying in bed watching them on the laptop after a big weekend.

But then again, I am revisiting ReBoot.

+1

Futurama was always good to watch as well, shame they cut it from the network (adult swim).

Beavis and Butthead rock.

Also like King of the Hill.

Amazing show!! first time I seen it was in an airforce base in England. As for family guy I can't stand it anymore it's just crap.

Butters and Deadwood's Al Swaerengen are the best tv show characters of all time.

Hmm... South Park, Family Guy, and Simpsons: three animated programs that had a really good start, but in recent years have turned in to meaningless, mindless crap.

Futurama pwns them all.

The Simpsons started to lose their knack for humour around season 7-8. The last time I actually watched a newer episode, I thought it was a horrible show. They seem to try cramming as many one and two-line unfunny jokes into an episode, and try to build some kind of plot around that.

I still love South Park. I thought Futurama was dumb. Never watched Family Guy, solely because I haven't had cable TV in the last ten years.

First four seasons of South Park

First six seasons of The Simpsons

First four seasons of Family Guy

All amazing. The Simpsons stopped caring in the mid-1990's, South Park turned into ****-poor political rants, and FG goes on auto-pilot frequently these days.

South Park... Respect My Authority! I love that! But then again there's Stewie.... ugh, decisions... nope South Park is still the lead for me.

Family Guy is by far the best. South Park is just too stupid and The Simpsons have run their course I think.

Unfortunately, i don't get South Park's humor :)

Its focused mainly towards the American sense of humour for the most part.

+1 for South Park.

For me its ... South Park -> Ren & Stimpy -> Beavis & Butt Head -> Family Guy -> Simpsons.

Ren & Stimpy for the win, but I +1 that South park seems sub-par to me, whereas Family Guy is made of mother fsckin win

Frisky Dingo > Futurama > South Park > Family Guy > The Simpsons

The Simpsons was once good but these days it's just seems more like Family Guy than Simpsons. It was good when The Simpsons had a coherent storyline.

I love southpark and simpsons :D I cannot understand how so many people can like family guy.

First three seasons of FG were brilliance. Very Brit-inspired (if you ever saw Seth's original short Life of Larry) and with sharpshooter precision in the pop culture and historical references.

What baffles me is the people who think South Park is in any way original any more. Every episode I've seen in the past few years has been taking the plot of some movie from the 1980's and wrapped a ****-poor political message around it.

I wondered about that too. And what about King of the Hill?

The stations I watch tend to have Simpsons (a heck of a lot of repeats) but not so much of the others.

South Park is pretty good, but you always know it's going to be about some current even nowadays.

Family Guy was funny to me during it's first run (when I was in middle school), but I can't stand it now.

American Dad is just a shittier Family Guy.

The Simpsons. Well. They just keep going on with an average amount of humor.

Personally I prefer Superjail! or Xavier: Renegade Angel.
