Ahh, your long-suffering QWERTY keyboard (or DVORAK, if you roll that way). Suffering the abuse of long nights coding, config file writing, gaming, and you crying on top of it because you can't get that bloody program working. :)

Of course, the most common disaster to befall our keyboards is death by tiny particles from whatever you were eating getting stuck in the grooves beneath. So, mine friends, my question is this: What on earth is down there anyways?!

What do i eat while i compute?
-Coca-cola (no pepsi)
-Fresca
-Mountain Dew
-Potato chips
-Popcorn
-Crackers
-Soup
-Turkey & Swiss on a bagel (best sandwich evar)
-I ate pasta once

HOW ABOUT YOU?

I usually don't eat that much when I'm in front of my computer. Usually stick to just drinking Pepsi/Dr. Pepper/Energy Drinks depending on whats in the refrigerator, at times that I'm not doing anything too important it's Pepsi+Crown Royal.

Felafel sandwhich in one hand, eeepc in the other. Tahini can be hell in a keyboard though. And what's up with the vegetarian option? You really think vegetarians only eat salad?

Cigarette ash does wonders for the keyboard, particularly if you're out of smokes and have had to resort to recycling the contents of the ashtray.

Something cold, like ice cream (or pizza)

:lolflag:

I normally do not eat by the computer. Sometimes I have a glass to drink from so I voted the appropriate category for that.

Buffalo chicken nuggets. Your keyboard will kill you in your sleep.

I'm too much of a hardware clean freak to allow such a thing to happen. Five minutes after consuming aforementioned Oreos, I would have the air compressor dishing out dessicated oxygen flavoured hell to said keyboard.

Dust and tiny bits know no fury...

I use my keyboard to catch peanut shells. Fits nicely in the trash can. Slows down touch typing resulting in better code.

Normally if I'm working I'm eating dry cerial out of a coffee cup.

So Cheerio dust is the most common thing under the keys of my keyboard.
(( Regular Cheerios, not those overflavored honey-nut things. ))

why wasn't 'alcohol' included in the poll?

I ate a lot of oranges and now my trackpad doesn't work. I'd only had it a month.

I once shook out my 4 year old laptop. I don't think it had been upsidown before but there an obscene amount of crisps.

I think there's more food on my machine than there is in my fridge.
