I keep hearing this thing called cloud computing and the availability of ubuntu in cloud..


What is cloud computing?
How to develop applications for the cloud?

cloud computing is where all the programs run on servers, so that all your computer needs is an internet connection and you can play Crysis on max graphics if you can find a server running the game

The technology already exists and we have been using a form of it for a while; thin clients, are basically the same thing, a server that hosts the applications that clients run. Theoretically if everything ended up running on the cloud, you would need nothing more then some ram and I/O devices.
