There are several editions of Photoshop. Some of these will run in Wine.

Some versions of Photoshop run very well with Wine, one of them is CS2.

I tried to install cs2 with wine but the text was really funny and the toolbar disappeared and would not come back. Any help?

I'd really like to use GIMP over Photoshop, but there are many things in it I still didn't understand. Maybe it's time to look for some tutorial.
