8.10~problem in snort, synaptic package manager

so I get this in synaptic package manager. wondering what are the steps to fix it. I tried using the source code found at the snort website but I cant get it to work right so removed it.so now I am back using the source found in synaptic package manager, but ya I get this error. Please help and thank you.
