I've installed:

VMware Server 2 for Linux Operating Systems.
Version 2.0.1 | 156745 - 03/31/09

After installation is done it runs vmware-config.pl and then i get this error:

None of the pre-built vmmon modules for VMware Server is suitable for your
running kernel. Do you want this program to try to build the vmmon module for
your system (you need to have a C compiler installed on your system)? [yes]

I've done some searching and found out that i should download vmware-any-any-updatexxx, so i downloaded vmware-any-any-update117 and ran that script put unfortunately I didn't help me so now im wondering if anyone knows how to solve this?

Running Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10
Kernel: 2.6.27-11-generic
