sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop
Not sure whether that will change the gdm login theme also though.

Ok, so if I get it right, the "install ubuntustudio-desktop" will only get you the "desktop" enviroment looking like ubuntu studio, but won`t get you all the ubuntu studio packages installed. I tryied and got a 120 mb download...
Then I experimented using sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-audio and I got an aditional 700 mb or so, of downloaded packages... I`m gonna try to do the same with ubuntustudio-video, ubuntustudio-graphics and ubuntustudio-audio-plugins.
Hopefully this will get me the full Ubuntustudio starting from a standar ubuntu desktop...
I`m trying this because I`m actually installing ubuntu using wubi, under windows, and it can`t install ubuntustudio directly, so I`m hopping that I can "upgrade" to the studio applications doing this workaround.
Any ideas?
