View Full Version : [ubuntu] gnome/kde (Amarok)/OS X screen sharing - key assignments

I don't even know where to start searching for this one, sorry.

The environment is a Mac OS X laptop connecting via Screen Sharing on the Mac to a PC running Ubuntu 9.04, which has a vnc server providing the screen sharing.

On the Ubuntu machine, with GNOME desktop, I am running one KDE app: Amarok. So the Amarok package install what I understand to be a runtime kde library for support. Sweet!

It would be convenient to have access to the DELETE key so I can manage playlists effectively and remove dupes, etc.

As of now, that isn't happening. In an ordinary GNOME app like gedit, DELETE works as it should. Also, using the Linux Machine's own keyboard, DELETE works in Amarok just fine.

Another wish-list item: to be able to send a right-click to the remote machine, which doesn't work in gnome OR kde apps.

Anybody know how to fix this? Or a workaround? THANKS!
