Hi,
KDE4.2 is very nice.. but I'm having some problems with it.
Most things run smooth but scrolling the plasma desktop folder view is very slow and sluggish.. makes it useless.
Trayer icons (especially icon backgrounds) are corrupted. It makes the otherwise perfect panel look really ugly.
Anyone else having these problems? Is there a solution?
Also.. using a mixture of qt and gtk+ applications (both desktops installed) but having a hard time setting the gtk icon theme from within KDE. Starting the gnome panel from within KDE and resetting the icons works.. but those settings are lost on next login (still ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and gconf-editor always points to the correct theme). Is there a fix for that?
