Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I'm de-addicting myself from Ubuntu a bit and opening my pack of books to study medicine. I have to start something more productive!

Ubuntu has worked great for me so far, and I'll be using Ubuntu only for my preparations and day-to-day computing work. But I shall have to control my time spend with Ubuntu - right now it's about 18 hours per day. I have to reduce it to 2-3 hours per day only then I can achieve something in life!

Still, long live Ubuntu! :)

good luck with that...I spend 7 hours in school, and I spend so much time behind the computer I'm having trouble getting atleast 5 hours of sleep a day;)

Yeah, you're right Chimera! I'm seeing that I've spent so much time with Ubuntu, trying to "understand" it, and neglecting food, sleep, and sometimes even friends and family. This is so bad of me, and I still don't understand how ubuntu manages to do this!

I was beginning to learn bash commands and writing scripts, but now I'll dump that project for some other time, not right now. I should study well.

Anyway, here I am, with my resolution, but I'll keep posting in the forums. :)

Good luck to eveyone else with their resolutions! May all see the light! :D

Good for you! Best of luck in your endeavours to become a doctor.

I avoid New Year's Resolutions, but I hope to exercise more in 2006... I'm horribly out of shape right now.

You look handsome in that pic! But exercise is a good idea at all times! Ubuntu is preventing me from stepping out of home at all, and I swear it's after two weeks that I came out of my room and saw the sun! :( I had to come out, because I had to go to work! ;) If I continue using Ubuntu for some more time like this, I'll gain weight like anything! :D

lol... that's my English teacher; I thought he looked funny in that pic (He describes himself as "adorable" lol) so decided to use it for my avatar. But I'll pass on your compliment to him :-D.

Actually, I'm overweight and should toss out the excess fat I keep on hand. It's not doing anything good for me. I encourage you to actually get out once in a while, which it seems you're doing. 2 weeks? that's amazing!

I need a doctor... Wanna move to Canada and be a doctor here?

I'll write USMLE steps 1, 2CK, 2CS, 3 and then apply, then appear for interviews all over USA, then join a residency program, study medicine, get MD degree, and then I can come to Canada.

How is the plan? ;)

By the way if you just need a doctor, I hold an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree already! I'm not a specialist, but a generalist, with five years of experience at my hand! :D
