Installation problem

i have installed Ubuntu in my laptop 8.10 after installing i am not able to using start using ubuntu...instread i get three options in the boot screen what does it mean...how can i install ubuntu in my Laptop..i am using Acer Extensa 5630..my configuration is..
160GB..1GB RAM..intel DUAL CORE..2GHZ speed..is this configuration suits for ununtu 8.10..
plz help...

i want to know because maybe someone can tell you in your proper language..

Anyways,
yes it is very suited for ubuntu.. You should plug in the cd with ubuntu, after starting the computer hit F12 or F8 and select your cd drive, then just follow the on-screen guide

i have no prob in using Ubuntu in a live CD..i have a prob in installing it n using it...

Have you installed your bootloader to /boot or to hd0?
