I was asked to cobble up a website for a non profit org. They didnt want anything fancy .. just a simple site.
I would like some feedback if you think this is too simple or should I work some more on it.

Seems good to me.
I normally woulda advocated a CMS, but if the site is mostly static, that matters less.

"Sponsors" is spelt "sponsors".
Spelling stuff wrong ain't professional.

Looks good.
I would put a bit more life in the background behind "Liberty Manor For Veterans - Vets Helping Vets".
Edit: the "news" part could use some more organizing.
It looks a bit chaotic.
Some simple line dividers beneath and above each news event could do miracles for readability.
