Since a while I saw the sudo comic from xkcd, and found it very funny.
Just found out that there's t-shirts for sale with that comic printed.
Think about people wearing it on the streets, and other people asking : "What is sudo ?!?!". "Oh, sudo is a cool Ubuntu feature!" :)

Better.

I don't mind people saying they use ubuntu rather than use Linux, but when it comes to something like that?

yeah, it's Linux

Ah, yes, I forgot about Linux :-)

But, seriously, on most non-ubuntu-based Linux distributions the sudo package is not installed by default, let alone having it work properly in the desktop environment. And in e.g. FreeBSD sudo is also not installed by default.
I think it's great that Ubuntu started implementing it in the desktop, well done Ubuntu developers!

Actually, the SUDO utility predates Linux by over a decade, first appearing in BSD.

Okay, but calling it a "linux" thingy gives it enough of a correctness while still being in public frame of mind, whereas most people don't know of BSD's.

Yes, technically you should call it a "Unix environment feature" but yeah :/

There's one print there that says:

Just shy
Not antisocial
(You can talk to me!)

I'd totally get that if I could, :lolflag:

Shirt of Geek Cred +10

But I try to hide from other geeks, so I can't afford being seen in this. :)

I already have that T-shirt and people have commented on it several times.
