Hello all,

I have a dual boot setup on my hard drive (xp and ubuntu 8.10) Ubuntu consistently starts fine and initially XP started fine. I didn't boot into XP for several days using only the Ubuntu side of the options.

Now I wanted to begin the updates on the XP side and get it completely configured but it doesn't want to load. It gives me the XP splash screen for about 5 seconds and then restarts the entire system bringing me to the OS options on startup. The funny thing (annoying after a while) is that I can start the system in safe mode but can't get it to load xp in normal mode.

Any ideas?

Thank You
jc

Ok...seems it's a known issue with XP install. Have found a solution and will get it going.
