Newbie to Ubuntu and linux in general.

Just installed Ubuntu as a dual boot on one of my laptops. I've been working with Vista Ultimate on that machine and wanted to have Ubuntu as well.

Created new partitions(4GB+6GB)for Ubuntu and installed it via the manual.

However...now, the MBR has the GRUB boot loader as default, while I'm interested in the old vista boot loader(like the one you have when you install Ubuntu as an application on windows and to be more precise bcedit). Any links around?

Cheers!

You get the Vista boot loader back by booting from the Vista DVD and running Startup Repair. You Do have a Vista DVD, right?
