Until a week ago I was running a dual boot XP/Ubuntu system. I uninstalled the version of Ubuntu I was running (8.01 IIRC) and decided the same day to load 8.10.
I can run from the disk with no issues, and loading does not seem to be a problem until I get this window.
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll65/twofatguys/ubuntu_load_problem.jpg. I have tried Dl'ing another ISO and burning it to disk, and nothing so far has worked. I have no RAM issues, the HD seems to check out fine, and system in general is stable under windows (how often do you hear that?).
I have put this version (from the same disk) on two other systems with no issues.
I apologize in advance if this has been covered before, I did a search, and read through some threads, and saw nothing that helped me.
Any help would be appreciated.
