When the Year Of The Linux Desktop ™ actually comes, we should announce it on 1st of April, just to catch everyone off guard in the next months.

Well HP are looking at Android, which makes me think they might put it on their netbooks.

if they do, Android would see a quick uptake in use, and it's technically a Linux distro ;) so we'd see the Year of the Linux Desktop get closer faster.

In America (And everywhere that is going through a recession/depression) I can see it being the year for linux seeing how free looks better then $200+ :)
