Installing ubuntu server from USB drive.

Hello,

I have a USB with ubuntu server 8.10 64bit on it. I am in the BIOS of my server and have a couple options to boot from as far as USB.

My board is a Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2

The USB first boot device options are...

USB-FDD
USB-ZIP
USB-CDROM
USB-HDD

Im not familiar with any of these. Do you know which one i should boot from? Thanks for your help.

i also have a gigabyte board and the option i use is
usb zip
make sure to press enter before it boots from your hard drive
