i HATE april fools day. Not only just because i am lied to by basically everyone in my life, and on the internet on this day, but i have to put up with horribly conceived april fool's jokes. Stuff like 'arch is going 64 bit only!' and even fake facebook notifications which appear real until only after you make a fool of yourself.

and now the ubuntu fourms are now the most eye wrenching color ever, making it a pain in the a** to even browse them

This joke is not funny. its just annoying. just change the theme back, please.

In my view, April Fool's day was intended to fool family, not the whole world. In this day and age, with web archives and Google caching, it's a horrible idea to post fake info -- it can be stored and looked up by people days, weeks, or even months later, without the viewers necessarily realizing it was a prank. Then when they find out the info is bad, they complain about it...wasted bandwidth, raised blood pressure, and rather costly.

April Fool's day sucks.
