Well if you look at the plans for IE 8.1 then things may swing back in their favor.

The fact that they are including OSS rendering engines and even providing support for firefox extensions. I wonder what happened for them to change to this direction?

Didn't their last version, based on firefox 2, terminate support a year ago or something?

Normally I would agree with you. But the moves they have made with IE 8.1 made me stop for a second. It seems like they have put better functionality into the browser not just following behind in the trails that mozilla, safari and google blaze.

Interesting.
What about the browsers set to spoof as other browsers?
Could an application accessing the internet be viewed as something else?
